Site visits

We travel for site visits across England, Wales and Scotland. We typically batch site visits regionally to keep travel costs out of project budgets. For an initial feasibility we don't usually need to visit — electricity bills and a few roof photos are enough for the desk-based report. Site visits typically happen after the PCC has agreed to take the project to detailed survey.

What to expect when you get in touch

  1. 1. First conversation — 10–15 minutes on the phone or via email. We'll understand your church, your energy bills, your PCC's situation, and what you're hoping to achieve.
  2. 2. Free desk feasibility — within 7 working days. PCC-ready report with system size, generation, capex, available grants and payback model.
  3. 3. PCC decision — your PCC discusses the feasibility report. Optional follow-up call to brief PCC members directly if helpful.
  4. 4. On-site survey — if you want to take it further. Structural and electrical engineers visit. Fixed-price proposal follows.
  5. 5. Project go-ahead — faculty application, grant applications, contracts. Project pathway from PCC vote to commissioning typically 6–14 months.

Throughout the process you have a single point of contact and a fixed price. No variation orders without your written approval. No high-pressure sales.
